GIRL'S
VOLLEYBALL CAMP
(Entering grades 4-9)
Girls, get a head start in your most popular sport ! Through the
inspiring direction of longtime volleyball coach Gayle Boos and her staff
you will learn the touch of passing the ball (bump), setting the ball softly
and the techniques for swinging for the perfect spike! How about
finally succeeding with the overhand serve? Team defense will also be
introduced. Our four day
volleyball camp will get you headed in the right direction.

WOMEN'S
SELF-DEFENSE CLASS
(Ages 16 yrs-Adult) - Along with practical physical techniques of self
defense, the class will cover situational awareness, trusting intuition,
responding to intimidation and dealing with adrenaline and the fight or
flight phenomenon. This two hour workshop taught by Brad Wells,
6th degree black belt, is free of charge but space is limited. No
previous experience is necessary.
Session 1: Sunday, June 6 (Deadline to register is May 28)
Session 2: Sunday, Aug. 8 (Deadline to register is July 30)

(Ages 5-Adult) Clean Sweep
Farms (cleansweepfarm.com) and the Fort Atkinson Parks and Recreation
Department are teaming up to offer 2 different courses to teach horse
riding and basic horsemanship. Riders will learn proper horse
care, grooming, tacking up, feeding, maintaining horse equipment, and
more. For more information - pick up a flyer at the Fort Parks and
Recreation Office. Basic Horsemanship (Lessons taught all year
long) Summer Horse Riding School & Day Camp (4 day camp - 24 hours
of instruction)
